Swan Chain, a decentralized infrastructure, is harnessing the power of blockchain to overcome challenges in the AI sector. By leveraging underutilized computing resources, Swan Chain aims to reduce costs by up to 70% and streamline secure data operations.
The AI industry holds immense potential but is plagued by obstacles. The high expenses associated with computing power and storage space hinder innovation and the advancement of AI technology. Additionally, maintaining data privacy while ensuring efficient operations poses a significant technical challenge, particularly within blockchain environments. These issues have created a pressing need for accessible and secure AI integration.
Swan Chain, established in 2021, is designed to accelerate the adoption of AI. It utilizes OP Stack’s Ethereum layer-2 technology to integrate Web3 with AI, offering a comprehensive range of storage, computing, bandwidth, and payment solutions.
Recently, Swan Chain launched its Proxima Testnet, the final testing stage before the planned mainnet launch. This launch coincided with the Atom Accelerator Race, which features a Contribution Credit System with a reward pool of 15 million credits. The system measures and rewards user engagement, developer participation, and exploration within the platform. These credits can be exchanged for potential rewards during the platform’s token generation event.
Swan Chain collaborates with Lagrange DAO, a decentralized autonomous organization focused on data value realization, to enable seamless and cost-effective AI model deployment. Lagrange serves as a decentralized computing platform, providing secure storage and deployment capabilities for code and empowering developers to create Web3 applications with a wide range of tools.
Swan Chain has successfully conducted six runs of testnet, attracting participants from over 15 countries, 20 cities, and more than 80 computing providers, primarily located in T3 data centers. During the Saturn Testnet, Swan Chain processed over 145 million transactions, engaged with over 25 million wallet addresses, and deployed over 630,000 contracts within two months. It also provided over 2.85 million CPU hours and 600,000 GPU hours of computing resources.
One of the significant challenges in the AI sector is the high cost of high-performance computing and large-scale storage. Swan Chain addresses this problem by integrating underutilized computing resources from community data centers, resulting in cost reductions of up to 70% and the monetization of idle computing assets.
Another focus area for Swan Chain is the secure and efficient computation of zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs) within the blockchain ecosystem. The platform offers outsourcing services for ZKP computations, supporting global blockchain networks like Filecoin and Aleo. Within two months of its launch, Swan Chain has processed over 50,000 ZK computing tasks.
Swan Chain also aims to lower the barriers for developers and users to access decentralized AI resources. Tools like Lagrange DAO, Multi-Chain Storage, a cross-chain data storage platform, and support for advanced AI models such as Stable Diffusion and MusicGen contribute to democratizing access to AI technologies.
To enhance interoperability within its ecosystem, Swan Chain has established decentralized resource trading markets for storage, AI, and ZK suppliers. The platform has also formed strategic partnerships with industry players like Filecoin, IPFS, Chainlink, and Optimism.
Swan Chain offers an Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatible, high-throughput, low-cost environment on OP Superchain, an Ethereum layer 2 solution. This addresses the limitations of Ethereum’s mainnet, such as low throughput and high fees. The offering enables the migration of existing Ethereum decentralized applications (DApps) to Swan Chain, allowing them to operate more efficiently and at a lower cost, which is particularly beneficial for resource-intensive decentralized AI applications.
By organizing a network of independent computing nodes, Swan Chain strengthens the robustness of its computing network and reduces the risks associated with centralized control. This decentralized setup ensures that the network remains stable and efficient, even if certain parts encounter issues.
Swan Chain allows users to create their own specialized markets, such as AI and ZK-proof markets, by utilizing the platform’s computing resources. Its standardization enables individuals and organizations to efficiently harness and deploy these resources according to their specific needs.
Supported by industry heavyweights like Binance Labs, Protocol Labs, Waterdrip Capital, Chainlink Labs, Outlier Ventures, and SNZ Holdings, Swan Chain has forged strategic partnerships with Nvidia, Google Web3 Startup Program, Microsoft Startup Program, Chainlink BUILD, and Filecoin Orbit.
Swan Chain’s vision is to democratize access to advanced AI and blockchain technologies and cultivate a more interconnected and efficient ecosystem. This innovative approach can pave the way for a new era of technological integration, where the barriers between sophisticated computing and everyday applications diminish, fostering widespread technological empowerment and innovation.
