Blockchain infrastructure company Blockdaemon has announced plans to expand its presence in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with a new office and entity in Abu Dhabi. The company received approval from the local Registration Authority of Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) for its expansion plans. As part of its strategy, Blockdaemon will operate and offer Web3 infrastructure solutions locally in the UAE, including node and validator infrastructure solutions, as well as its self-hosted multiparty computation (MPC) wallet technology. Amor Sexton, the company’s Chief Operating Officer, stated that this expansion is a significant step forward for Blockdaemon, as it seeks to establish a stronger presence in the UAE. Arvind Ramamurthy, Chief of Market Development at ADGM, expressed optimism about the opportunities this approval could unlock in the region. Blockdaemon specializes in developing institutional-grade infrastructure for blockchain protocols and serves both crypto-native and traditional financial institutions.
