Illia Polosukhin, co-founder of Near, recently discussed the company’s mission to empower individuals without coding skills through the use of artificial intelligence (AI) agents that can create decentralized applications (DApps). In an interview with Cointelegraph, Polosukhin explained that Near aims to provide the necessary infrastructure for individuals to become project founders, even if they lack technical expertise. The upcoming AI tool will allow anyone with an idea to bring it to life, with the AI assisting in various tasks such as writing user stories, creating freelancer profiles, developing smart contracts, and designing user interfaces. The AI will also be capable of writing middleware to connect different components of the application. Polosukhin also discussed the potential risks associated with AI, particularly the manipulation of users by centralized companies. He believes that user-owned AI models are essential for protecting individuals against malicious actors. Polosukhin expressed confidence in Near’s ability to build such infrastructure, noting that the Web3 architecture is well-suited for this purpose.
