American media personality Caitlyn Jenner has joined the growing list of celebrities accusing Sahil Arora, a collaborator of memecoin projects, of scamming them. Jenner’s X account expressed frustration, stating, “FUCK SAHIL! He scammed us! BIG TIME,” in response to queries about Arora’s involvement in the JENNER token launch. The controversial token launch initially gained attention, with its market cap reaching $43 million within 24 hours, according to DEX Screener. However, it has since dropped by 52.8% to $20.3 million.
Despite the fallout with Arora, Jenner emphasized that it does not mean they will stop supporting and promoting the JENNER token. Jenner stated, “JENNER isn’t going anywhere but up,” but added that Sahil appears to be fully out of the project for now. The authenticity of Jenner’s posts is still being debated within the crypto community.
Interestingly, American rapper Dimitri Leslie Roger, also known as “Rich the Kid,” recently claimed that his X account was hacked by Arora, who allegedly used it to promote the “RICH” token. Jenner, referring to her conversations with Rich the Kid, expressed doubt that Arora would launch tokens for other celebrities in the future.
On Monday, users on X noticed that a cryptocurrency wallet address shared by Jenner was the same one used by adult content creator Kazumi, who is suspected to have been hacked while promoting the “ZUMI” coin on May 20. This discovery led cryptocurrency investigator Roxo to connect Arora to both token launches and suggest that he “socially engineered” Jenner’s team. However, on-chain data does not currently indicate any significant sell-off.
