Dubai’s rapid growth in the blockchain industry was on full display at the Token2049 conference, where Fastex showcased its innovative Web3 services. The event, held in April 2024, attracted over 4,000 companies and brought together the brightest minds in the crypto ecosystem to discuss the future of Web3.
Fastex, a fast-growing Web3 ecosystem built on the Bahamut blockchain, was among the participants at Token2049. The platform highlighted its comprehensive range of Web3 products and applications, including the Fastex Exchange, Fastex Wallet, Fastex Card, Fastexverse, and ftNFT platforms. In addition, Fastex showcased services tailored for the iGaming industry, such as white-label centralized exchanges, white-label NFT marketplaces, and Fan Token Development Services.
One of Fastex’s standout innovations in the metaverse vertical is the Fastexverse, a dedicated virtual world where users can create their own metaverse spaces and launch virtual businesses. This allows users to buy and sell NFTs easily within the metaverse, with offerings including the Fastex Exchange and the FastexPay crypto payment gateway.
Fastex is also working on its Cerebrum Virtual City initiative, which aims to build virtual replicas of real-world cities within virtual reality. This platform provides a virtual analog of physical offices/stores, allowing users to communicate with customers, partners, and friends in new ways. It also offers 24/7 customer support through avatar employees and AI.
During Token2049, Fastex focused on discussing the Bahamut Chain, an Emirati-based blockchain network that utilizes the proof-of-stake-and-activity (PoSA) consensus mechanism. This mechanism enhances the security and scalability of the Fastex ecosystem, making it ideal for Web3 businesses and users. The Bahamut Chain, launched in 2023, supports a wide range of applications, including DeFi platforms and NFT marketplaces.
Fastex’s ftNFT centers, located in Dubai, Venice, and Yerevan, offer a unique physical NFT experience. Visitors can physically explore the NFT gallery and create avatars in the metaverse using the in-store 3D scanner. The ftNFT phygital space at Token2049 hosted informative meetings that provided insights into the technical features of the Bahamut blockchain, the Bahamut Grants program, and the legal and regulatory aspects of the crypto world.
In addition to its participation in Token2049, Fastex is also hosting the ftNFT International Awards, which aim to highlight Dubai’s role as an innovation center for Web3 and NFTs.
Vardan Khachatryan, the chief legal officer at Fastex, expressed his belief that Fastex will become a leading platform in the industry, offering a wide range of services from cryptocurrency exchange to decentralized services. He emphasized that events like Token2049 help cement Dubai’s position as a global blockchain and Web3 innovation center, allowing Dubai-based companies like Fastex to showcase their technology to a broader audience. As digital and physical spaces continue to converge, Fastex and other Web3-native ecosystems have the potential to shape the future of both worlds.
