Social media platform X has taken action against Sahil Arora, an alleged serial scammer, by suspending his account “@Habibi_Comm.” The account has been involved in manipulating screenshots of conversations with Australian musician Iggy Azalea and has also been used to endorse celebrity memecoins that have faced accusations of scams, which violates the platform’s regulations.
In response, Iggy Azalea has distanced herself from Arora and launched her own cryptocurrency. Olympic athlete Caitlyn Jenner and American rapper Rich the Kid (Dimitri Leslie Roger) have also publicly accused Arora of scams related to memecoins that used their brand.
However, these allegations have not deterred Arora from advertising fake partnerships and creating more celebrity memecoins. On June 3, Arora promoted a partnership with BingX, but the cryptocurrency exchange denied any collaboration with him. Arora then went on to promote another celebrity memecoin project associated with Offset (Kiari Kendrell Cephus), an American hip hop artist who has accused Arora of fraud.
Screenshot evidence obtained by Cointelegraph suggests that Offset had previous interactions with Arora. An anonymous Solana-based memecoin project claims that Arora introduced them to Offset in March. Arora allegedly acted as a middleman as the project attempted to promote their cryptocurrency with Offset’s assistance. The project sent $20,000 to an address shared by Arora, but Offset claims that he never received the payment.
The memecoin project alleges that they have been blocked by both Arora’s Habibi_Comm account and Offset. Despite the suspension of his account, Arora is believed to have multiple accounts on X and has been redirecting followers to a new account on his Telegram channel. Prior to his social media ban, Arora had recently promoted connections with boxing legend Floyd Mayweather and actor Lindsay Lohan.
In a leaked magazine, it was revealed that Arora was the “mastermind” behind the Caitlyn Jenner meme coin and had a list of prices for engaging celebrities in his schemes.
