In a recent interview with Crooked Media’s *Pod Save the World*, aired on September 11, Vera Bergengruen highlighted that advisers to President Bukele described the adoption of Bitcoin (BTC) in El Salvador as a “great rebranding” and a “complete PR [public relations] move.” Before entering the political arena, Bukele briefly managed his family’s PR firm, eventually rising to become the Mayor of Nuevo Cuscatlán, the Mayor of San Salvador, and later, the President of El Salvador.
