Fetch.ai, a crypto AI project built on Cosmos, has recently unveiled a $100 million infrastructure program called Fetch Compute. This initiative aims to enhance the capabilities of developers by providing them with tools, computing power, and training opportunities. Additionally, the program will offer GPU credits to its users. The funding for Fetch Compute will be sourced from the Fetch.ai ecosystem fund.
To create a platform for developers and users to access computing power, Fetch Compute will deploy Nvidia H200, H100, and A100 GPUs. This move is expected to drive innovation within the Fetch.ai ecosystem, enabling developers to explore complex models and solutions. Starting from March 7, users who stake Fetch.ai’s native coin $FET will earn Fetch Compute Credits as rewards. These credits can be used to pay for GPU utilization on the Fetch Compute network.
Humayun Sheikh, CEO of Fetch.ai, expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative, stating that the combination of substantial compute resources and the unique compute credit system will provide the necessary support and tools for the community to bring their AI projects to life. Currently, Fetch.ai’s infrastructure consists of the search-based AI DeltaV platform, which utilizes Language Models (LLMs) and AI agents to connect users with computing services.
In other news, AI tokens have experienced a surge in value following chip-maker Nvidia’s strong Q4 earnings in 2024. Nvidia reported revenue and earnings of $22.1 billion and $12.3 billion, respectively, representing significant year-over-year increases of 265% and 769%. The demand for computing and generative AI has been a key driver of this growth. As a result, Fetch.ai tokens have seen a return of over 230% and are currently trading at $1.78.
Last month, Fetch.ai also announced a partnership with Deutsch Telecom, which will serve as a corporate partner and validator for the Fetch blockchain.
In summary, Fetch.ai’s Fetch Compute program aims to boost the capabilities of developers by providing them with resources and training opportunities. This initiative, along with the deployment of Nvidia GPUs, is expected to accelerate innovation within the Fetch.ai ecosystem. The recent surge in AI tokens, including Fetch.ai tokens, follows Nvidia’s impressive Q4 earnings. Fetch.ai has also secured a partnership with Deutsch Telecom, further strengthening its presence in the industry.
