Google Cloud has partnered with Sequence, a Horizon Blockchain Games platform, to bring its complete web3 gaming development suite to cloud users. The integration aims to make it easier for web3 developers to utilize web3 building tools using Google’s cloud computing platform. Horizon Blockchain Games, which was launched in 2019 and has raised $53.3 million in funding, is known for its NFT/trading card game “Skyweaver” and tech stack. Sequence offers a comprehensive web3 developer platform with various tools, including wallets, marketplaces, smart contract management, analytics, and plugins for Unity, Unreal, web, and mobile. The partnership with Google Cloud will involve the full integration of the Sequence development platform. Jack Buser, Director for Games, Strategic Industries at Google Cloud, expressed that Sequence will simplify the game creation process for builders. Greg Canessa, President and COO at Sequence, emphasized the platform’s goal of allowing developers to focus on creating great games without the need to understand the complexity of Web3. The integration with Google Cloud aligns with Sequence’s vision of making Web3 integration as easy as setting up a game server.
